Niche Markets

A niche market is a smaller section of the mainstream crowd, normally products that wouldn't fill the needs of everyone necessarily. For example in printed media, BMW Vehicle magazine is not for everyone, it is clearly for BMW owners or the few people who admire BMW's.

Globalisation

Globalisation is when a business decides to transcend, to venture into the world beyond its founding country of origin. 'The Sun' is a good example of Globalisation due to the fact that it has expanded over seas into foreign countries increasing its audience vastly.

Financial Viability

A good example of financial viability is the comparison between 'Eastenders' and 'Coronation St'. Both TV shows are similar but they are funded differently. Coronation St. is privately funded but open to shares, as Eastenders is funded by the public (part of the television license agreement).
